Rochon Born in Torrance (a suburb of Los Angeles), is the daughter Zelma Staples. Her parents are Samuel Staples a graphic designer and businessman. Cerritos Senior High School, in Cerritos California was where Rochon was a student in 1982. She received her bachelor's degree of broadcast journalism, with a minor in the theater and sociology departments in the California State University Dominguez hills (CSUDH). Rochon has returned to CSUDH in 2016 she was the keynote speaker for CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities the commencement ceremony.

Heather Storm works as a travel writer, TV host and producer. She has an obsession for automobiles. She hosted for Garage Squad, a Discovery MotorTrend Network series, Street Tuner Challenge and a Speed TV show, and she was a guest on Jay Leno's Garage. Heather is the producer as well as host for the digital travel program, Drive Yourself Local, which follows her journey across America in her classic 1965 Ford Mustang sharing local slices of small town life. Ullerup performed the role of Julia Brynn in the 2006 remake of Battlestar Galactica, which was broadcast by Sci Fi Channel. The character she played, Ashley Magnus, was written out of Sanctuary's first and second season. The fans were furious over her departure, and many were hoping to see her come back in the next episodes. It ended in 2012, but not before there was a heated discussion. Ullerup starred as Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in 2016. Ullerup appeared as Maggie Thomas as the estranged ex-wife of Michael Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact. Since 2016 Ullerup has had a recurring character as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films series.
